its my first time driving there, and frankly speaking, i was really excited !! yea man!!
saw some really sick cars doing 200km/h to 250km/h.
saw a S500 and few 7series. so sick man
so we left home at about 730 and i took the 2nd link, actually wanted to leave for the causeway at 5am so we could arrive at KL in the morning but had to pick my family from the airport in the morning.
so i left home at 6 to pick them up from airport and dropped them home then picked up deardear and off we went, traffic was actually pretty smooth, inclusive of immigration. btw i went on saturday morning, about 8am. drove all the way to KL without any stop, arrived at about 12noon,
stayed at prince hotel & residence. pretty decent supposedly 5star hotel but i'll prolly rate it 3.5 to 4 stars. OHM NOM NOM!!
after checking in and settling down, we walked to bukit bintang area for some food and shopped around.
oh and on the way there, we saw this really cool Public Toilet. see all the cool panels they have, you need to insert a coin and it'll open up for you i think, but we didn't really need to pee so didn't try it out.
had some roast meat at a chinese restaurant, aint very cheap but oh well. shopped around and didnt really get anything, went back to the hotel for a short nap.
had dinner at Pavilion, some chinese restaurant I-dragon or something. i had pork rib noodles. dear had some mushroom meat rice stone thingy. additional xiao long bao and we ordered a mango cream thingy . total was about 40RM.
Actually tastes pretty good, and the xiao long bao was the best i've ever eaten since i was born.
retired for the night, woke up at 7am for breakfast, had some issues with the reception cause of my last minute booking through the agent. anyway i koped an egg from the breakfast buffet. NO im not such a cheapo, but i wanted to use it for other purposes. so actually dear had no idea where we were going after this, cause i told her that im not telling you. haha
On the way there this part of my car started falling apart, threatening to dislodge itself and fly away, so we stopped at a rest point to patch it up. NO my car is fine, just that it was already coming apart and my dad told me to glue it back, then i argued that its a car, not a toy car, you dont just glue it back and there wasn't any need to patch it up since Singapore's roads are 90km/h max, so we kinda forgot bout it. anyway if you do the math u'll know if you speed up enough, loose parts of the car will start coming off.
so off i drove to felda residence and hot springs. i looked it up and it actually seems pretty cool. theres spa and natural hot spring pools.
Tickets costs 10RM each for entry to hot springs area.
The temperature of the waters range between 30degrees up to 100. Theres even an egg boiling pool, yes the water is naturally heated, and yep this is what i wanted my egg to do, get boiled.
but the place's so packed.
See that huge playground? its flowing natural spring water, but we decided not to go in. Cause we both hate crowds, water's alil dirty too.
Then we saw this ATV dirt track, you know those mini trucks on 4wheels, yep we played that, but didnt take any photos caused my phone hanged, the dudes manning the stall took some photos, he said he'll email to me. unbelievable huh the track was pretty decent, uphills and down slopes, we all got dirty everywhere cause there were some parts with mud and puddles.
oh the spa there sucked really bad too, so didnt proceed with that. in the first place i had planned to stay there, but i got really disgusted with the place, so we left an hour later, and off we went to another place.
Yep, another 2hours drive away, Fraser's Hill. all the bends and uphill drive, i would drift my way up if i was in an AE86, but my jazz did great too :)
its a cool place, with temperatures of 21 to 23degrees average. its about 1250m above sea level i think.
Pretty backdrop girl
Had some food at their small town area, i had fried mee which costs 6RM and dear had Hor Fan which costs 6.50RM
i think the 50cents more was for the taste, cause mine was tasteless :(
Oh, all the chinese here speak canto btw, its too bad we aren't very proficient in that, or else we could have dug out more information from them. the only few canto words are those i learnt from my good pals, like, tiu lei and so on. which i felt was inappropriate for usage here.
Had to travel 4KM downslope, it took 15mins cause you can't go really fast unless going down is all you wana do, so its either you take 15mins or you take few seconds to go down.
and on the way down and up, we met some really crazy msia dudes that made me swerve, and some morons who were rushing down in the middle of the 2 way road while i was coming up.
couldn't really see anything till after the sharp bends.
Entrance to the falls.
Finally reached the Fraser Hills waterfalls, didn't get to venture all the way in as night was approaching so we stopped at this miniature one.
wonder whos this yandao
hubba hubba
nice view on the way up. :)
outstanding car
stayed in room 107
Its a really tiny room, but more than enough for us, barely any room to walk but theres no need for that, and its only 90RM a night.
Had dinner at their small town. Feels safe parking next to the POLIS car.
Dear had nasi pattaya, and i had this chicken chop, check out the thickness of the chicken.
look as my fork is slowly engulfed by the chicken.
Night view from our room.
Morning view, its really misty and cooling.
wanted to go horse riding and play some archery but we decided to head to JB instead, its like 5 to 6hours away.
left the place at about 820, just nice for going down on THE GAP. yea there are specific times for going up and down, cause its too tight to squeeze 2 vehicles, but traffic is only controlled from 7am to 7pm, you could go down at night, but you wont know if another dude is coming up.
stopped by to look around this nice waterfall we saw on the way back to KL
had more photos but sadly i wasn't able to save them :(
*cold wor
check out the prettiness . you guys know what im talkin about.
saw this auntie collecting water, we figured its the water from the hills, you know those mineral water which says water from the mountains, i think she works for them.
We stopped by to collect some water too, i drank alil bit, so far im fine.
beautiful scenary
♥
Spring water collection
vast skies and clouds
JB is a totally boring place, crowded everywhere, we parked at city square and had shilin for late lunch. Oh, their chicken is one huge piece, and its only 6RM, their Mee Sua costs 6RM only too.
